I have been struggling with this for a couple of hours now and was hoping someone could help me. I have now figured out why my simulation is bombing out. I was using AverageDiversityAroundAllEntities to measure diversity on a cooperative pso. This doesn't work to well. For the life of me I can't remember how to calculate the diversity of a cooperative pso. I was hoping that someone could help me with this and also with regards to how this fits into cilib

Are you applying the measurement on the cooperative algorithm or on the individual populations?
Having a look at the Javadoc for the object, it is clear the the measurement is designed for Single Population based algorithms.
